ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ. Although the current line-up of Spicy Rice came to shape in early 2009, one can trace their story as back as the year 2003, when Stathian(drums) joined Jimmy's (guitar) high-school band (Dynasty), during which period songs that are still performed by Spicy Rice were written. George (bass) came into the picture when Jimmy and Stathian were looking for a keyboard player a couple years later for another band they started. After several unsuccesful attempts to find a lead singer, they were finally introduced to Elena by a mutual friend (thnx Bill!).
Their music is a mixture of a wide range of influences as variable as rock n roll, pop, blues and indie, that travels through all sorts of moods and feelings, with strong melodies and rhythms, that retains a DIY edge.
