ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ. Indie Rock band from Athens.
Formed in 2009 as an acoustic trio, playing covers from foreign indie bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab for Cutie, Arctic Monkeys, Beirut, Bon Iver, Empire of the sun, Queens of the stone age, Radiohead and many more but also writing their own acoustic songs.
In 2010, they were searching for new sound, more concrete and full, so they found two great artists for bass guitar and drums. At that point, they started recording their first promo EP with 5 songs.
Now a new era begins in 2011. A 6th member is introduced, with new instruments added such as trumpet, ukelele, mandolin, harmonicas. Their first promo EP is ready after one year of recording and mixing and is sold through MySpace,Facebook (and also in their live concerts).
Also, in the end of 2011, they recorded an acoustic cover of Kavinsky’s “Nightcall” and Desire’s “Under your spell” from the OST of Drive, which gained critical acclaim worldwide, even from the Kavinsky and Desire themselves.
The future is unknown, but the trip has started.

Οι i saw 43 sunsets δημιουργήθηκαν το 2009 στην Αθήνα και ξεκίνησαν σαν ακουστικό τρίο, παίζοντας κυρίως διασκευές ενώ παράλληλα άρχισαν να δουλεύουν δικά τους τραγούδια.
Το 2010 στη μπάντα προστέθηκαν δυο νέα μέλη, σε μπάσο και τύμπανα, ώστε ο ήχος τους να γίνει πιο γεμάτος και ολοκληρωμένος. Σε αυτό το μοτίβο, προστέθηκε και 6ο και τελευταίο μέλος της μπάντας το 2011, γεμίζοντας τα τραγούδια με τρομπέτα, μαντολίνο, γιουκαλίλι, πιανίκα, φυσαρμόνικες, καζού.
Έτσι, το 2010 ξεκίνησαν τις ηχογραφήσεις για το πρώτο τους EP και ένα χρόνο μετά, το promo EP τους είναι έτοιμο και διατίθεται από τους ίδιους μέσω Myspace και Facebook (αλλά και από χέρι σε χέρι στα live τους), ενώ παράλληλα διατίθεται δωρεάν μέσω bandcamp.
Στα τελευταία νέα των i saw 43 sunsets, έρχεται να προστεθεί η ακουστική διασκευή των “Nightcall” και “Under your spell” από το OST του Drive, η οποία πήρε πολύ καλές κριτικές ακόμα και από τους ίδιους τους δημιουργούς, Kavinsky και Desire αντίστοιχα.
