ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ. XЯÆŸI
is a musical project that kicked off about a decade ago in Athens, Greece. After a series of coincidences and fortune-altering, yet random, events that led to the band having the current lineup, XЯÆŸI is still active and kicking.

During the last three or four years the band has been working on tunes and rythms of their own. Panos (aka XЯÆŸI frontman) does all of the songwriting.

XЯÆŸI have appeared live in several venues in Athens. They have won 2nd place in Battle of the Bands (Athens) 2007 as well as 2nd place in MAD4BANDS Nokia Contest 2009.

Musically :

Growing up in the late 80's - early 90's XЯÆŸI's sound and style is heavily influenced by the likes of Nirvana and Radiohead. Post-Millenium, the band has been digesting almost anything the music industry can throw at them. Ranging from RHCP to Muse, Anthony and the Johnsons to Slipknot, indie to thrash metal. However not everything bares the same weight. XЯÆŸI are generally aiming to a contemporary fresh alternative sound.

Lyrically :

All of the songs XЯÆŸI have created so far come with lyrics in English, reflecting some melancholy and a feeling of unrestfullness.
