ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ. Pig in a Poke are an indie alternative rock band formed in Volos, Greece in April 2005.During the years 2005-2010 the band appeared with many known artists of the same genre like Puressence, Monika, Mr.minimal, Rosebleed, Abbie gale, Pavlos Pavlidis & The B-movies, Burger Project, Ska Bangies, 81 db, The fuzzy nerds, B-sides, Travel mind syndrome in various cities, on MAD TV’s show “MAD DAY LIVE”, as well as on ANT1 TV’s “Radio Arvyla” show.

The band after five years of musical pursuits released it’s debut album titled “Let’s Smile”, in November 2010 as an independent production. Their tracks “It’s time” and “Without destination” are already included on several lists of many radio stations. Also, ”Without destination” was selected to be the soundtrack on a short film and stood out as the track of month in music community Musicwave.gr

A few months after the release of the album “Let’s smile” the singer Chris Liouris resigned and was replaced by the new and current singer of the band Val Ilias. In 2011-2012, Pig in a Poke have scheduled several live performances in many parts of Greece in furtherance of the new album while working on new material.

At the moment Pig in a Poke releasing a brand New EP called “Carry on” with limited 200 copies.
