“Blue Works” is a number of songs originally kicked off in 2004 in a genre that mixes electro, dark disco and italo-disco with direct influences from Fischerspooner and Ladytron to Pet Shop Boys and Suede along with references to Queer Theory, Michel Foucault, Jean Baudrillard, *** industry, queer studies and more.

Based upon keywords like "Sex Politics", "Gender", "Social Repression", "Media outcast" and under a comprehensive title like "Songs Of Overrated Intimacy", BlueWorks has been the only music project in Greece with clear references to LGBTQ matters and the LGBTQ way of thinking or/and living.
